The RDP is a two year, entry-level, rotational development program designed to provide recent engineering and science graduates accelerated training in the Pharmaceutical Operations field. The program offers real world, hands-on experience in important roles and projects to the company while promoting personal and professional growth for the participants. Rotational colleagues are hired as full time employees into one of our domestic manufacturing facilities and typically remain in one location throughout the duration of the 2 year program. With over 70 rotational colleagues currently in our program, and another 100 graduates, Pfizer is the perfect environment for young professionals starting their career. The program offers real world, hands-on experience and is an ideal environment for new graduates with a desire to learn and be challenged. Each rotation offers a different business perspective and provides opportunities for innovation and is the best possible experience out of school to fast track your career. EVERYTHING! • Rotate through approximately three to four challenging, demanding and diverse assignments in different disciplines targeted to provide career growth and experience • Opportunity to gain experience in multiple disciplines that may include Engineering, Laboratories, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operational Excellence, etc • Support at all levels of the organization truly differentiates this program from others. A one-to-one relationship with program managers and dedicated mentors ensures members are exposed to a variety of skill building experiences • Access and visibility to senior level management • Workshops to strengthen interpersonal, technical and leadership skills • Opportunity to network both inside and outside the manufacturing organization • Build strong relationships with current and alumni members of the program through cross training, leadership and social events Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (IE, ME, Chem E, Biomedical) or Life Sciences (Biology, Microbiology) • Strong academic performance (min 3.2 GPA) • Previous work, internship or co-op experience • Passion for learning and pursuing a career in the health care industry • Strong organizational skills, capacity to quickly identify problems and structure solutions, and ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining high quality work • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership ability and proven track record of teamwork, innovation and initiative
