Expo Policies

Below are the policies established for Expo 2016. We ask you to review them.

Multiple Registration Policy

For larger companies, it is not uncommon for multiple divisions or subsidiaries to register separately for Expo. While we usually allow this, we prefer employers inquire beforehand regarding their specific circumstances. This is partly to ensure that we can have as many distinct employment opportunities as possible for students, and partly to prevent confusion on our part when managing your registrations.

  • If two or more registrations are put through under the same or exceedingly similar employer names, we will contact the registrants to sort everything out as soon as possible.
  • There are no penalties for cancelling duplicate invoices that may be involved in these scenarios.

Invoice Policies

The SEC has the following policies relating to paying invoices. Please note that you cannot directly cancel an invoice - instead, you must request to cancel an invoice, after which our staff can finish the cancellation. This procedure allows us to clarify your intentions and confirm any applicable penalties.

Due Date Policy

All invoices will be due within 20 business days of registration.

  • Payments sent via USPS must be postmarked by due date.

Cancellation and Return Policy

  • Cancellations received on or before before August 15, 2017 will have a 100% money back guarantee.
  • Cancellations received on or before September 5, 2017 will get 50% of money back.
  • Cancellations received on or before September 11, 2017 will get NO money back.
  • No shows will get NO money back and be charged a $100.00 administration fee.

Late Payment Penalties

The SEC reserves the right to charge an additional 5% penalty fee for overdue invoices for each full week payment is not received, to a maximum of 100%.

Payment Policies

The SEC offers two methods with which to pay for invoices: checks, and by credit card. While we can process your card by taking information over the phone, it is far more secure to do so online. After a payment method is specified via checkout, a processing fee up to 2.5% may be charged for changing the payment method. Paying by credit card without using the website Checkout will incur a 5% fee at the time the invoice is finalized.

No-Show Policy

All Employers must be in their booth by 10:00 AM. Employers who cannot be reached by phone, with the contact information on file, will get NO money back, and will be charged a $100.00 administration fee.

Company check-in for exhibition halls is: 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
